F MY LIfeThe book F my Life by Maxime Volette, Guillaume Passaglia, and Didier Guedj is very FUNNY! The style of this book is very much like journal entries. It's written in 1st person. Each little short story is completely different and makes the readers stomach hurt from the laughter it causes. It is for older adults or young adults. It has a older sense of humor and some of it is inappropriate. I do recommend the book to other young adults and older adults.
Rented reboundThe book The Rented Rebound by Melanie Marks is a Teen Romance. It's full of humor and quirky comments made by the main character. The Main Character, Brynn, is very odd and has a GREAT sense of humor. She struggles to understand her feelings for the other main character named North. North is your typical bad boy written in stories. He's dark and mouth watering Handsome. He has girls flock to him and is used as rebound quite often. The story is their journey to becoming a couple with a couple bumps on the way.
The HeartbreakersThe book The Heartbreakers by Ali Novak is very a humorous romance. The book is about a boy band meeting a girl who has a sister dying of cancer. The girl didn't go off and do the things she wanted in fear of missing out on time with her sister. Her sister pushed her to go and do things that she wanted to do for so long. So she toured with the band all over the U.S taking photos and living for the first time in a long time. She slowly came out of her shell and later fell in love with one of the boys in the band. In the book the reader learns about what happens when one misses opportunities when they are scared and worried about life. For the lessons learned in the book the author keeps the humor light.
Sea FoamSea Foam by N.C Gardner is about romance and overcoming one's GREATEST fears. The book's main character is named Lana. She was pushed to be an Olympic swimmer; however, she later almost died of drowning. Soon that caused trauma to her life. She talked talking and gained the fear of water. But, the help of a long lost childhood friend turned surfer helped her to over come the trauma. Through out the book she never talks, but has very great witty comeback in her head. She is a very humorous and strong willed character much like Jane Smith in Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
Mr. & Mrs. SmithMr. & Mrs. Smith by Cathy East Dubowski was written in 2005. The book was humorous and witty. The witty and humor went hand and hand with the strong willed characters in the book. The two main characters were very reserved and not very social. They had more quirky comments then emotional moments. Even when they were trying to kill one another there was witty comments to one another. In the beginning of the book it was quite confusing. The change in Points of View and timelines was the thing found the hardest to understand. The book was a fun and quick read. I recommend this book to other young adult readers that enjoy action and quirky humor.
