I think we should do stem research. It will help us understand diseases and illnesses. Though the information they reveal, we could understand what they do to the body, instead of using real people as test subjects. Two of the stem research tissues are umbilical-cord blood and fetal tissues. Personally, If I lost my baby with miscarriage, I would want to know that what life the baby had would go to science and saving someone else pain in this world. Or after having a child, the umbilical cord being donated to science, knowing that I could be saving someone else pain, suffering, loss, a day dressed in black. Just pushing back a couple years so that someone could have one more smile, a kiss, a hug, an “I Love You”, another anniversary, to see a daughter walk down the aisle, one more midnight oreo snack with milk while hearing stories of funny childhood adventures. It would lessen the pain of a losing of a child or put a smile on my face to see my little miracle. Just knowing someone will someday have one more second, minute, hour, day, month, or year. It is just one more before the pain starts, and that’s all that matters. It gives me closure that I am giving someone else happiness.
